GOVERNMENT

Working with the Government - whether Federal or State - requires a certain set of skills few electrical contractors can handle. First there's the paperwork: prequalifications, bid packages, badging, safety documentation, certifications, complete submittal packages, design, close-outs, etc.

The construction side is equally challenging with varying specification standards, UFC requirements, design-build management, RFP interpretation, inspection standards, American Made requirements and exceptions, testing standards and so much more.

We provide an experienced team of managers, support staff, electricians and leaders who can turn the paperwork around in short order and build a quality project with excellence and efficiency.

  • Donovan State Correctional Facility

Not only is Team Cacy’s work on Donovan State Correctional Facility proof of our ability to produce quality work, but proof of our ability to do so under immense pressure. In order to complete the job, our workers had to shut down the prison and power up all emergency and security systems via generators. And with the watchful eyes of the media bringing the pressure of public opinion on their shoulders, Team Cacy still maintained an excellent work ethic and implemented a system of which we’re proud.

  • Yuma Hangars

This extensive project took Team Cacy a year to complete and involved everything from underground requiring methodical planning to high-work demanding boom-lift operations. Our team also spent extensive time on the roof making sure everything was set and that lightning protection was in place, despite 115 degree days.

  • Los Angeles Federal Building

Built in 1955, this Los Angeles Federal Building’s need for updated electrical was undoubtable by the time we arrived on the job in 2018. Team Cacy’s Award-winning work on this project not only included the replacement of the main electrical systems, but included the implementation of an entirely new electrical room and an installation of a new transformer—all while the building’s main offices remained running full time.
